About Things to Do in Dublin
An independent guide that helps you pick the right Dublin tickets, tours and day trips, and book them without surprises.
Who we are
Things to Do in Dublin is written by the Things to Do in Dublin editorial team. We are not a tour company. We don't sell tours or tickets ourselves. We compare what GetYourGuide offers in and around Dublin and send you to the tour that fits.
How we pick tours
- Live data. Price, length, meeting point and cancellation terms come from each tour's live page on GetYourGuide. When a listing does not state a group size, we say “Not stated” or leave it out.
- Rating and reviews. We show the rating and the number of reviews as GetYourGuide shows them. We never round a rating up. We prefer a tour with many reviews over a perfect score from a few. Where there are only a few, we say so.
- Official tickets first. When a sight sells its own ticket, we say so first. The Guinness Storehouse sells tickets on its own site, and so does Trinity College for the Book of Kells. Then we say what a tour adds, such as a guide, transport or a set time.
- Refunds, said plainly. Tours with free cancellation come first. A ticket you can't get your money back for is marked “Non-refundable”. Guinness Storehouse tickets are like that, though you can change the date for free up to 24 hours before.
- Closures, said plainly. Dublin Castle is closed to the public until January 2027. We say so on every page where it matters, with the date we checked.
- Low ratings, said plainly. A tour rated under 4.0 gets an honest note and is never called the best. A tour with a very low rating from only a few reviews is left out.
Where the facts come from
Tour prices, lengths and ratings come from GetYourGuide. We checked them on 25 October 2026. Opening times, official ticket prices and travel facts come from the official sites of the sights, museums and transport companies. Each page links to them. Hotels were checked on Booking.com. Prices change, so the booking page always has the final word.
How the site makes money
Our affiliate disclosure, linked at the bottom of every page, explains this.
